The Islands Best Tournament is the kick-off event for the 10U, 12U, and 14U spring select seasons.  It is held at the Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex and runs all weekend long.  Typically it is scheduled for a weekend in December before or after the Christmas holiday.  

Silver and Gold level select teams from all over the island compete in this tournament to see how the teams compare at the beginning of the season.  There is another tournament (Kirk Banks) at the end of the season to see how the teams have progressed and grown.

The Kirk Banks Tournament is held during spring break (March) each year, in memory of former soccer player Kirk Banks, who died in an auto accident at the young age of 31. Kirk played on the Kailua High School soccer team and coached AYSO soccer.

The Kirk Banks Tournament is open to boys and girls 10U through 16/19U teams throughout the state and is held at the Waipi'o Soccer Complex in March.

The AYSO Rainbow Tournament, is held from late June through early July at the Waipi'o Soccer Complex. Boys and girls teams in the 10U through 16/19U Divisions are invited to participate.

The Rainbow Tournament began as a cultural exchange program, giving Hawai'i teams the chance to play against stronger Mainland teams. This competitive tournament attracts dozens of teams each year from around the state and the Mainland.

The AYSO National Games are held ever two years.  This tournament is hosted by a Section in varying locations across the AYSO-verse.  Participating teams are drawn  to participate by a lottery system.  The National Games have been hosted by Section 7 (Hawaii) on two occasions.  Region 188 has had teams participate on several occasions.
